Sporting Arizona FC Entered In USOC Qualifying Round Two

LA MIRADA, CA (September 29, 2022) - Only one Southwest Premier League club can book spot in the next round of qualifying for the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup this weekend.

Sporting Arizona FC will attempt to move one step closer to a berth in next year's U.S. Open Cup with a victory over SC Union Maricopa Matt O. Hanhila Field in Glendale, AZ, on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. MT.

"This is a tremendous matchup between two competitors that know each other very well," SWPL President Matt Morse said. "Participating in the U.S. Open Cup is all about pride. We are proud that Sporting Arizona FC has chosen to carry the SWPL banner in the Open Cup."
